Anticipation

November 29th - the night before we leave for Africa!

Anticipation lingers like a fly on fresh meat...(a sight not uncommon where we are headed by the way)

It's been almost 2 years to the day since I last set foot on African soil. I'm anxious to see how much has changed and grown...how many people in our village have upgraded from thatch huts to tin roofed buildings...how big the children have grown...the sights, sounds and smells. My mouth is watering for fresh mango and pineapple.

I have not slept well this past week. I will not sleep tonight. We wait patiently for morning.
