Two days of traveling, three plane rides and a bus ride later - we made it. A long trip but worth every penny of it.
Saturday night we arrived to a warm welcome from the hotel staff at Etisah Beach, they all recognized me even though I had not been there since 2002. We feasted on barracuda and plantains and relaxed as we listened to the ocean waves crash on the shore.
Monday morning we went straight to the beach. Black sand, warm water...it was heaven. Later, on the way to Limbe Botanical Gardens, we drove by the banana and rubber tree plantations. Its exciting to be back!
