Transportation

Transportation comes in many forms in Cameroon. You can walk if you can stand the heat and sweat. You can ride a bike but they usually only have one gear. Take a "bush" taxi if you are desparately in need of feeling like a sardine squished between 15 other people, babies, luggage, sheep and goats.
My prefered mode of transport in the Grand North is moto taxi. On the way to Garoua one morning we had a little moto parade! About a 15 kilometer ride from our village.

Sometimes we fit four or five people on a moto if there is a shortage of moto taxis. Here are Chris, our friend
Abdou in the middle, and Issa's brother driving. Yes, I took this picture while on a moto as well, there's something to be said about good balance. :)
